When you have the feeling of lightness, more expanded sense of being, the breathing returns to its most natural spacious flow.
We learn that the breath contains four phases:-
inhalation, space, exhalation, space,
and the secret to the breath is the space inbetween the breath. When we begin to atune to this space we find one of yoga's deepest secrets.
Breathing can be so bound up in emotional identification, so we learn to let the breath find its own movement, its own rhythm.
